Today I celebrate what everyone has harped and preached on. This morning at precisely 9:30 AM I dropped off my first actual resume to a school in Chatham County Savannah, GA thereby starting in motion what my father would so eliquantly call the "Real World...Son". With much aid from friends as well as girlfriends in the "How to not look like an idiot when you submit a resume" and "How to write a resume that doesn't blow your cover of not looking like an idiot" departments I have been guaranteed an interview at Winsor Forest High School for an open Mathematics teaching position. The school is on spring break this upcoming week, but "I can expect to hear from them the following week". I was actually given the opportunity to give the resume to the assistant principal. Luckily I was prepared and dressed appropriately for the occasion. It was a brief exchange but the fact that she wanted me for an interview was evident. So, best of luck to me and thanks everyone for your help!
